State of skin or state of mind?
Most people judge a book by it’s cover and your skin is your cover. So, how do you care for it and how does it take care of you? Being a sufferer of acne myself, I can only share what I experienced. I found that I either wanted to stay home more and I was never open to meeting new people. I felt safe with the people around me and meeting new people just brought the insecurities on stronger. I feel blessed that during this time, I was well into my career in Aesthetics and had the knowledge on how to really take care of my skin. I also feel it has given me the desire to want to help those who suffer from this disease. Nearly 17 million people in the United States have acne, making it the most common skin disease.
When it comes to the largest organ in your body; do you allow it to dictate your state of mind? I know that I did.
